Attorney General Brenna Bird filed a lawsuit aimed at stripping Winneshiek County of ALL its state funding. That includes its law enforcement. All because of a — checks script — Facebook post.
Sheriff Dan Marx, a fellow Republican, said his office would reject unconstitutional immigration detainer requests that weren't approved by courts. And now he’s in a fight with AG Bird and Governor Kim Reynolds.
